Meetings are typically 7:00pm at Cherokee Caverns on the first Wednesday of the month.

October 1, 2025

Our monthly ETG meeting will be 7:00pm Wednesday at Cherokee Caverns. We will have a brief meeting and then pitch in to help Cherokee Caverns prepare for Haunted Cave. This is our chance to provide some pay-back for use of this awesome meeting place.

Sarah has an idea for a short activity before we start working. She asks that you bring a small bag of candy with you if you can.

Mike Whidby says he will talk to Dana and come up with a plan for the Haunted Cave preparations. He also needs help splitting wood. He has two log splitters there now. Bring gloves if you want to help with that. A chainsaw would be useful as well. There is also some lighting work to be done.

There will be an East Tennessee Grotto meeting on Wednesday July 2 at 7:00pm at Cherokee Caverns. For the program we will be suspending the cave mapping programs and doing a "Cave Trivia" contest.

June 4, 2025

There will be an East Tennessee Grotto meeting on Wednesday June 4 at 7:00pm at Cherokee Caverns. We will have a quick review of SERA Cave Carnival. This will be the first of three surveying classess and will cover surveying and generating line plots.

May 7, 2025

No meeting will be held this month since we just finished hosting SERA 2025. See you next Month!

Our ETG is meeting at Orange Hat Brewing Company tonight at 7:00 pm. (Meeting place has changed temporarily due to problems at Cherokee Caverns). Location is on Hardin Valley Road, not far east of Pellissippi Parkway.
