About ETG
Established in 1956, the East Tennessee Grotto (ETG) is an internal organization of the National Speleological Society (NSS) and a registered 501(c)(3). Our mission is to promote safe and responsible caving, conservation and study of caves, and fellowship among cavers.
Grotto meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at the Historic Cherokee Caverns unless otherwise noted by an officer. Please check the events page for the most up to date information on meetings.
